Transfer printing is a method of transferring an image to a selected object using an auxiliary carrier, in most cases specially prepared paper for this purpose. The logo, inscription or motif is printed on the paper in mirror image, and then transferred to the promotional item by thermal treatment. After successful transfer, the company logo or image becomes a permanent part of the textile item.
In the Prisma printing house, the process is automated by two heat presses. Our technical equipment allows us to use transfer printing for T-shirts, polo shirts and other clothes, but also for branding promotional hats.
The biggest advantage of transfer printing is its wide application in branding difficult coated materials. This category includes ready-made sportswear, hats, umbrellas, backpacks, conference bags and laptop bags. When treating materials printed with this technology afterwards, it is recommended not to use aggressive detergents and bleach. To preserve the image for a long time, it is recommended to turn T-shirts or blouses inside out when washing.
